Caffe Sapore has become our go-to for delicious bagel and focaccia sandwiches. I’m not sure how I haven’t written a review yet, I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten at Caffe Sapore over a dozen times by now. If you haven’t tried it, you should.
My usual is the veggie bagel to which I usually add either hummus or turkey. It’s so good. I. Love. Sprouts. So. Much. It’s loaded with fresh sprouts, red onion, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber and avocado with a touch of olive oil and s & p. (Now i want to go there for lunch today…). I’ve also had the Sapore Bagel and the Breakfast Bagel with egg and cheese. The bf usually gets the Napoli Focaccia sandwich which he always marvels over because it is that delicious. The Napoli includes turkey, roasted red peppers, pepper jack cheese and olive oil. Why are roasted red peppers so freaking delicious?!
So if you go, you should get the Veggie bagel and the Napoli focaccia sandwich during happy hour so you can wash it down with a $2 PBR while sitting outside enjoying the beautiful(-ish) SF weather.
